A Tripadvisor Feed from an actual visitor to the all-inclusive Barcelo Langosta Hotel near Tamarindo (January, 2010) ...

We just got back from our trip yesterday. We loved the place and the people so much we will be planning a return trip to Costa Rica.

We stayed at The Barcelo Langosta Room 4032 in the new building. The room was nice, had the standard amenities and we were more than satisfied with it.

Our arrival was late in the evening and we were grateful for the stop on the bus ride from the airport to get supplies and something to drink. The hotel restaurant and snack bar were closed by the time we got checked in. (My real only complaint)

We've heard so much about the RIU Guanacaste. We just had to visit. Here is my report:

I just return this evening from a visit to the RIU Guanacaste. Since I'm the Tripadvisor Destination Expert for their Province (Guanacaste), I was hoping I'd get an invitation for their October Grand Opening, but alas the invitation never came. So, I'm just now getting around to visiting on my own.
